Who is the NEA and What is The Department of Education?

Cailin and Shanida are back! They are sharing what they learned from a deeper exploration of the Department of Education, its history, and its current state, highlighting the challenges and changes it faces today. They are also sharing what they have learned about the structure of the Department of Education including how it began and what may become of it with a new presidential administration. Along the journey they discover more information about the NEA- the National Education Association- including how it began, how it is connected to the Department of Education, and some of the notable progressive moves it has made towards equal and accessible education for all.
